Our goal is to provide fast, easy access to business and trade information for new and existing entrepreneurs. As the first point of contact for Manitoba's small business community, our knowledgeable and courteous staff are committed to meeting your needs for business information in an effective and user-friendly way.
Our Commitment to Serving Small Business in Manitoba
- For services by phone, walk in, or mail, hours of operation are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (CST), Monday to Friday.
- Our Web site and email services are available for your use 24 hours a day, seven days a week (except during periods of system maintenance).
- We provide current information on federal and provincial government business-related products, programs, services and regulations. This information is accurate, helpful, relevant and timely.
- Information products in our collection are updated regularly.
- We also provide research, information counselling, and entrepreneurial learning services.
- All calls will be answered promptly.
- The information you request will be provided by your choice of phone, mail, e-mail, pick up or fax.
- You can access the Canada/Manitoba Business Service Centre from all regions of Canada without long distance charges;
- We will respond to you within one business day upon receipt of your request in person, by telephone, fax, mail or e-mail;
- If we are unable to provide an immediate answer when you first contact us, we will provide an estimate of the time required to obtain an answer to your question(s);
- Services are provided free of charge and in the official language of your choice.
- TTY services are available Deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, or who have a speech impediment: 1-800-457-8466.
- We will make every effort to find the information you are looking for using all available resources;
- If you must be referred, we will provide you with the telephone number of the contact or service who will best assist you. We encourage you to report back on unsuccessful referrals.

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with our services we encourage you to contact us and we will do our very best to correct the problem promptly.
