The objective of this program is to encourage economic and efficient production and marketing of commercially grown, irrigated and dryland potatoes; with a focus on quality. 

Eligibility Criteria

Potato producers, processors, and others involved in agri-business companies are eligible to participate.

Summary

DESCRIPTION

The program is comprised of Pest Identification / Monitoring / Irrigation Management / Development and all other General Potato Agronomic Management systems required for proper production and storage of potatoes, with a focus on quality. The program provides assistance to both commercial and residential growers.

NON-FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

This program provides technical assistance in a variety of methods such as in field demonstrations, diagnostic schools, conferences, publications and direct contact with producers.
