DESCRIPTION
The databank contains information of interest to any organization or person planning a land-based development or conservation activity such as pipelines, construction, farming operations, resource harvesting and protected area planning.
The databank may be queried for a particular geographic area for:
- the presence or absence of a species
- all species known to occur
- a particular species or species group, e.g. biological requirements, degree of rarity locally and globally, or legal status.
