The Topographic Mapping Section is one of four sections of the Geomatics Branch in the Conservation Programs Division of the Department of Conservation.

Summary

The Topographic Mapping Section is responsible for the provision of provincial topographic information to support the management of provincial resources. The section also provides geographic (thematic) mapping services in support of resource management and development activities of government agencies, industry, crown corporations, and the general public.
