Summary

Offered by Industry Workforce Development, the Industry Expansion Initiative is aimed at companies that create new jobs in Manitoba by locating new operations in the province or expanding existing operations. The program assists companies by contributing to their investment in skills training for individuals. Companies are required to make a cash contribution, exclusive of in-kind, which at least matches the total amount of funding provided by the program.

Companies that are legal entities, incorporated and have a Canadian Business Number can apply. Non-profit organizations, government departments, crown corporations and educational institutions are not eligible.
