Encourages post-secondary students to engage in meaningful part-time community service with registered charities or incorporated not-for-profit organizations and provides students with a bursary to continue school and earn some extra money.
Once approved, post-secondary students who have completed 100 hours of community service, should submit the Record of Service form and receive $500. If they are able to complete an additional 100 hours they can apply for a second bursary and receive an additional $500. All bursaries are subject to the availability of funds on a first come, first serve basis.
