ITC assists business and industries through the development and implementation of new and innovative technologies and undertakes the promotion of technology-based, economic development.
Consistent with ITC's economic development mandate, activities are undertaken to lead or support new technology-based development within Manitoba. Many of ITC's services are available on a fee-for-service basis and are not readily available in Manitoba.
Accreditations & Certifications
ITC is Standards Council of Canada accredited, ISO 9001 registered, and CLAS certified.

Mechanical Testing

Calibration

ITC helps Manitoba organizations become more efficient and productive through the application of technologies by providing:
- Technical Information & Advice
- On-site technical problem definition and solution development
- Library services - Literature sourcing, access to standards and codes, database searching

- Investigate, understand and evaluate how specific technologies can contribute to their success
- Minimize their risk in adopting and integrating advanced technologies

- Distribution of information on advanced technologies, webinars, seminars and workshops

Eligibility Criteria
All may take advantage of the services that we offer on a fee-for-service basis. Services such as our technical information and advisory services are available at little or no cost to Manitoba-based clients, as is an initial consultation on technical projects and problems.
ITC staff work with the client to help clearly define the client's needs and to identify cost-effective, technically viable solutions, providing references to consultants or advice on funding sources. ITC will develop formalized proposals to meet clients' project requirements.
Target Audience
ITC provides services to individual entrepreneurs, small and large corporations, and government agencies throughout Western Canada. Typical industry sectors include aerospace, transportation, manufacturing, and agriculture.
