If your company operates from a Canadian base, you can access the unique knowledge, expertise, and educational resources available at Canadian postsecondary institutions while training students in essential technical skills that are required by industry. The mutually beneficial collaborations are expected to result in industrial and/or economic benefits to Canada.
The grant can cover up to half of the costs directly associated with projects that promise to generate new knowledge or to apply existing knowledge in an innovative manner. Exploitation of the project results must benefit the Canadian economy within a reasonable time frame.
