The Fund seeks to identify projects that directly benefit low-income people.  Each application is assessed based on its social and economic goals and its financial viability.  Each project must demonstrate that they have the capacity to carry out the project they are proposing.  Loans and bridge financing are made for small business projects (including worker co-ops), housing and social service projects.  Through their investments, the Fund aims to promote self-reliance, dignity, self-respect and a better quality of life for healthier communities.
