Food Beverage Canada (FBC) is an industry association committed to the development of export strategies and programs that will strengthen and increase its members' share of global food and beverage markets.

Summary 

Food Beverage Canada has a new program open to Canadian agri-processing companies, focusing on regions of the Middle East, South East Asia, Western United States and parts of Europe. The Mentorship Program offers comprehensive professional guidance in two strategic ways. It is designed to:

  • assist companies, by providing step-by-step information, to enter new export markets or to
  • expand existing export markets;
  • provide support with investment path finding .

FBC is an industry-led, non-profit* export market development association formed in June 1994, as an alliance of provincial food and beverage associations in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia and is supported, in part, by these associations.

FBC works closely with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada regional offices and provincial partners to provide a growing range of programs and services to facilitate trade with importers around the world.

The Food Beverage Canada export platform consists of a number of programs ranging from introductory levels to ones that will assist experienced exporters expand into new markets or solidify their position in existing markets. They are designed to be practical, cost and time efficient and result oriented. The FBC programming mix evolves from year to year to meet the changing needs of industry.
