The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) will grant eligible entrepreneurs a loan of double the amount approved by the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF), up to $30,000. The loans granted by BDC will be used to support new businesses that have been in operation for less than 12 months and the owner/operator is between the ages of 18 and 34 years. To be eligible for a BDC loan, all applications must meet BDC’s loan criteria and be previously approved by CYBF for funding. CYBF will be responsible for receiving financing requests under this partnership.

This program is designed to enhance the skills of Manitoba's young people (18 to 29 years) who have started, or plan to start their own full-time business. Pre-approval prior to the commencement of the course is mandatory.
